If yellow bean paste is not available, you can substitute it with doubanjiang. Adjust the amount of chili
peppers to taste, as it will increase the spiciness.
Instructions
Lightly blanch the edamame until they are slightly firm. Boil them in 1-2% saltwater for about 2 minutes, then
remove the beans from the pods.
Cut the pork into small pieces and marinate with soy sauce and cornstarch. Slice the garlic into four pieces and
chop finely. Cut the dried tofu into small cubes.
Heat oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the pork until its color changes.
Add the edamame and garlic and stir-fry together.
Continue stir-frying until the color of the edamame changes.
Add white sugar, yellow bean paste, and soy sauce, then add half a cup of water and simmer.
When the broth starts to reduce, add the chopped dried tofu and stir-fry together.
The salt from the yellow bean paste is sufficient, so do not add additional salt.
Add the chili peppers and stir-fry a few more times to finish.
